“Barack Obama and the big government crowd are destroying our economy”

Jun. 2, 2011 (Business Wire) — Today, a spokesman for Congressman Ron Paul’s 2012 Republican presidential campaign remarked on the most recent U.S. jobs report and the state of the American economy. See comments below.

“If the latest job numbers are any further indication, none of the centralized schemes deployed by Washington’s elites are helping regular Americans. As a matter of fact, Barack Obama and the big government crowd are destroying our economy, and our dollar,” said Jesse Benton, Paul campaign chairman.

“Despite the fact that none of the past nearly trillion-dollar economic stimuli have worked, all signs point to the Federal Reserve gearing up for another round of ‘quantitative easing’ – meaning more destruction of the already-weakened dollar. At the same time, we have an official Washington that refuses to acknowledge the looming fiscal crisis our country faces with regards to our debt and continues to spend with no end in sight,” continued Benton.

“We are going to see real suffering in this country if we do not balance our budget and restore sound monetary policy. And we need to do it now.”

    I say we have some fun. Since no one is actually paying attention to the candidates message. Someone should build a “design your own candidate” website. You know, you can add different hair styles and custom clothes… maybe chuck in a booming voice or a breathy babe voice for the mammas. We could call it “Voting For Dummies” It would be all the rage!!

    It’s the mainstream media’s job to eliminate Ron Paul from the race so that Obama can sweep an easy win against Romney. It’s up to us to spread the word, pass around his books, talk about him, get it to people’s heads that Ron Paul is the man to truly save America. It shouldn’t take a libertarian like myself to realize he’s the first politician speaking the truth, and offering true leadership. Obama can offer all the “free icecream” he wants, against Paul he will be destroyed.

    Just watched “Casino Jack” about the Jack Abramoff story. It’s just the media, but imagine a federal government where lobbyists needed to go to each individual state rather than to the federal government. State Reps would get more money for their campaigns, and Indian Casino’s wouldn’t have to go so far to get their money back. I think Ron Paul can win.
