Biographical: I was born in Ireland and moved to the U.S. when I was younger. At the age of 18, I decided to enter the U.S. Army and became familiar with many different career choices, one of them being journalism. In my down time from my primary MOS (Military Occupational Specialty), I started writing short stories and books about history. In 1998 I was contacted by a local German newspaper where I was stationed at the time to write a piece on the country through an American soldiers view. That’s when my journalistic career took off. For the past dozen years or so, I have been writing about various things however my real passion is for the news. Everyone needs to know the truth about what is going on in the world, not what people want you to hear or read. So many news agencies these days want to bend the news to raise ratings however I do not. I tell it like it is.

The Facts Finally Tell The Truth About The Economy

The Facts Finally Tell The Truth About The Economy

Well the Obama Administration or any other part of the government can no longer say that the government is heading in the right direction because it isn’t. The economy is finally crossing a threshold that it may not have seen since the 1920’s. Yes, it is that bad. Economists, the ones that are shooting straight [...]

Want To Buy a Burger With Your Gold or Silver? You Might Have The Chance In Utah

We all know that people who collect silver and gold coins or bars do so for investments or collections, but now people in Utah can actually spend that form of currency on anything they may like. It is almost like the “Old West” when you had to pay in gold and silver which I think [...]

Home Prices Fall, Hit Six-Month Sales Low

Sales of homes, especially the previously owned ones, continue to fall and prices are dropping to the 5% mark from twelve months ago. All signs point to a housing market that is still struggling to regain its former glory just a decade ago. Earlier this morning, the NAR (National Association of Realtors) stated that home [...]

Looking To Travel On Memorial Day? You May Want To Reconsider

We are all thinking the same thing when it comes to fuel prices. “Enough is enough.” But no one is listening mainly because they have the money to not care. For people like us who have to scrape by to either put gas in the tank or food on the table, the time has come [...]

Could The Country Be Heading For a 5% Inflation Rate?

Okay before I worry you too much, this is not like the 1970’s (for those who can remember them). On Friday the consumer price index was at 3.9% and it has been like that per year since 2008. Even worse, it flared without the market’s help given that the unemployment rate is still hovering around [...]

Sprint Stock Keeps Going Up, But Why?

Many of us, if not all, have heard the phrase “Can you hear me now?” And all of us are probably sick of hearing Dan Hesse (the CEO of Sprint) telling us how wonderful his company is. The facts are as follows: Sprint does not have the iPhone. It doesn’t have Peyton Manning like the Colts do [...]

Obama, U.S. Offers Assistance To Lockheed After Attacks

It looks like Obama and his Administration is sharing wealth that the U.S. does not have, again. A few days ago, Lockheed Martin was under a cyber attack and now the DOD is trying to ensure something like that does not happen again. On May 21, Lockheed Martin went under what they called a “tenacious [...]

U.S. Hired Fewer Workers. Imagine That.

Everyone in the U.S. government is pleading with citizens to believe that the economy is getting better. We all know that this isn’t the case. The economy is going to hell in a hand basket, to be plainly put. Jobless claims are up, hiring is down and in a startling new discovery suicides are up. [...]

Should The USPS Go Back To Using Horses?

Most of us know about the Pony Express and how it was the cornerstone for the foundation of what was to be known as the Unites States Postal Service. History buffs like myself thrive on little pieces of history like 120 year-old letters with no stamps on them. Hand written, crinkled up and folded up [...]
